Firsov nails president’s chief corruption lord

Speaking in a talk show on ZIK TV late Nov. 24, Rada ex-lawmaker Yehor Firsov accused Oleksandr Hranovsky (Petro Poroshenko Block lawmaker) of being the chief lord of corruption in the presidential administration.

Hronovsky’s income declaration for 2013 included merely UAH100,000 ($3,800). After one year as Rada deputy, his declaration cited UAH1 million in cash and several expensive watches, Firson said.

Firsov then asked Hranovsky to explain the sources of his sudden wealth.

Hranovsky replied, referring to the check by the prosecutor general’s office that rendered him clean.
