As of Oct. 1, for three years Ukraine will have EU tax breaks on agricultural and industrial goods, Eurocommission says.
“It’s a good news for Ukrainian exporters giving them easier access to EU markets. It’s another proof of EU’s support for the Ukrainian people, Ukraine’s deputy minister for economic development and trade Natalya Mykolska says.
Sept. 13, the European Parliament approved additional quotas for Ukrainian agricultural goods: 625,000 tons of corn, 325,000 tons of barley, 65,000 tons of wheat, 2,500 tons of honey and others.
No import tax will be charged on fertilizers, footwear, copper, aluminum, sound-recording equipment and paints.
