Ukrainians meet with injustice every day. In the case of Mikheil Saakashvili they understood the injustice can be defeated, Rada Samopomich lawmaker Alyona Shkrum said, speaking on ZIK TV late Sept. 13.
“Seeing how warmly the people welcomed Saakashvili and opposition politicians I had a feeling I was in Disneyland on a New Year. The thing is that Ukrainians come across injustice every day but in the case of Saakashvili they realized the injustice can be defeated,” she said.
Ukrainians no longer look upon Poroshenko as a president with a mandate to lead Ukraine, she said.
Shkrum compared the current situation with the one during the Maidan revolution in 2014 when Ukrainians defied Yanukovych’s criminal decree to shoot at the demonstrators.
“Poroshenko is not a sovereign or feudal lord. Like all other Ukrainians, hHe has to abide by the law,” Alyona Shkrum said.
