The days of the Ukrainian diaspora will open Aug. 27 near the monument to Cardinal Andrij Sheptytsky outside the Greek Catholic cathedral in St. Yurij square on the occasion of the World Ukrainian Congress 50th anniversary. An exhibition dedicated to the role of the World Ukrainian Congress is to be unveiled at the Lviv Franko University the same day.
An international conference to mark WUC activities in the past 50 years and strategies for the future starts at 8.30 on Aug. 27 at the Lviv Polytechnic.
A public action ‘Glory to Heroes’ is to be held at the Lviv cemetery at 10.00 on Aug. 29.
