The National Agency for Preventing Corruption badly wants resetting. Also, this agency must be headed by an independent official, said Boryslav Bereza, independent Rada lawmaker, speaking on ZIK Aug. 14.
“We want an effective agency while the one we have now is ineffective. They issue only loud declarations. There are no achievements,” he said.
While NAPC has screened merely 39 income declarations of top officials, volunteers have checked several thousands, Bereza said.
NAPC present head Natalya Korchak cannot serve as she is extremely inefficient, Bereza said.
All NAPC leaders must resign as they have discredited themselves, said Rada lawmaker Yuri Derevyanko.
