According to Ukraine Ministry for Occupied Territories, Russia has mounted Kalibr-NK medium range missiles on its Navy ships. With the range of 2.5 thousand km, the Russian missiles can reach European countries, Middle East, and North Africa.
The Russians have set up an uncontrolled military zone in Crimea, deploying modern weaponry there, the ministry says.
In December of 2015, the Russians deployed two missile vessels to Crimea, “Serpuhov” and Zelenyj Dol,” equipped with Kalibr-NK missile complexes. If the complexes use ZM-14 (SS-N-27 Sizzler) missiles the targets as far away as 2.5 thousand km can be hit, the MOT says.
The Russians have deliberately deployed the missile vessels to Crimea as land-based ZM-14 missiles are banned under the 1987 treaty.
Aug. 19, 2016, these two vessels delivered a missile attack on Syria.
