Deputy manager of the Crimean Tatars ATR TV channel Aider Muzhdabajev gives his recipe for a quicker reinstatement of Crimea as part of Ukraine.
Speaking to The Apostrof, he proposed the formation of the government in exile.
He criticized Kyiv for failing to give the Crimean Tatars the status of a core peninsula nation. The Russians, meanwhile, are persecuting the Tatars to banish them from Crimea. By repression and threats, the Russians are trying to cleanse our homeland from the Tatars, he said.
Now is the key moment to change the Ukrainian constitution and form an autonomous Crimean Tatars republic, Muzhdabajev said.
Kyiv is sitting on the fence, he summed up.
