June 18, Wizz Air and Lviv city officials inaugurated a new light flight linking Lviv with European capitals. That day, a passenger plane from Berlin flew in 167 passengers on board. The return flight flew out with 173 passengers, Lviv city administration reported.
More low-cost flights are to be opened, and Ukrainians will be able to travel cheap to Europe and farther on, Lviv Danylo Halytsky airport general director Tetyana Romanovska said at the inauguration ceremony.
There will be two return Lviv-Berlin flights per week – on Wednesdays and Sundays.
