Foreign investor opens asphalt plant to build roads in Ukraine

The official unveiling of an asphalt plant took place in Mykolayi, Lviv oblast, May 17. Its investor, a businessman from Azerbaijan, also plans to build roads in Ukraine, ZIK reports.

Aliev Ziyaddin Ismail Ogly invested over 7 million euros in the plant.

The plant sits on an 18-hectare site, with the Swiss-Italian Amman asphalt plant producing 180 tons of asphalt an hour.

The businessman also has 39 pieces of road-building machinery. He expects to take part in tenders for road building in the area.

The ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador in Ukraine Hudiev Azer Hudayar Oglu.
