At a joint session of the commission for economic cooperation, Ukraine and Georgia agreed to develop the transport corridor linking Baltic, Black and Caspian Seas, Ukrinform reports Apr. 13.
The corridor is essential for improving transportation and winning new markets, Ukraine’s vice-premier for European integration Ivanna Klimpush Tsyntsadze said.
The commission has resumed its work after a 4-year lull.
The joint commission also discussed Ukraine-Georgia trade and cooperation in agriculture, transport, logistics, health care and education.
