SBU imposes 3-year bans on Russian Eurovision singer

The Security Service of Ukraine has banned Yulia Samojlova, a disabled Russian singer chosen to perform at the Eurovision song contest in Ukraine, SBU reports March 22.

SBU charged Samojlova with violating the Ukrainian law by visiting the annexed Crimea and performing there. She also made some declarations supporting the annexation of Crimea by Russia.

Over the past 2 years, SBU banned several Russian singers to enter Ukraine on the same charges.
