As of Aug. 1, all procedures at Ukraine customs houses will be done in a single place, the so-called ‘single window,’ Premier Volodymyr Grojsman announced Aug. 1, UNIAN reports.
“This is another step toward reforming the work of the customs. The electronic database will help clear any kind of customs control – sanitary, epidemiological, radiological, ecological, veterinary,” the premier said.
The system will save travelers a lot of time and do away with paper certificates, he said.
The system will not only save time, it will reduce corruption, Grojsman stressed.
