Russian authorities search Crimean Tatar children center

The Russian police searched the Dzankoi children center, grabbing books and visiting the homes of some children and interrogating their parents, Center for Journalistic Studies reports Jan. 29, citing the center director Elif Lutfia Zudieva.

The search was carried out without any search warrant, she confirmed. The police took away children books in Tatar and Turkish.

The police asked her and the children questions related to religious practices at the center, the director said.
