The Georgian government invited a group of wounded Ukrainian servicemen for rehabilitation at its spas, ZIK reports May 21.
The first group includes 20 Ukrainian soldiers from the Ternopil oblast. They all suffered heavy injuries during fighting.
The servicemen believe the healing climate of Georgia will help them restore their physical and mental balance.
The Ternopil authorities say this is the first group, with more groups to follow.
The stay at Georgian spas costs UAH2,000 ($90) per day but the rehabilitation will be free for Ukraine.
