What sanctions will be imposed by the EU if the war in Donbas picks up, Ukraine’s Ambassador to EU Kostyantyn Yeliseyev said in an interview with DT Apr. 25.
“The EU is to declare it clear and loud what sanctions it will impose if Russia intensifies war in Donbas and ignores the Minsk agreements,” the diplomat said.
There is no willingness in the EU to impose new sanctions, he said.
The EU members have defined the trigger for the imposition of sanctions – Moscow’s attack on Mariupol, Yeliseyev said.
“We expect the EU will continue its sanctions against Russia at its summit in June,” he said.
