Schoolchildren in the town of Brody, Lviv oblast, launched a scrap paper collection campaign to buy a $1,200 night vision device for their homey now serving in Donbas, ZIK reports.
The month-long campaign is backed by the Brody education authorities and ‘Brody Self-Defense’ NGO.
The scrap paper collected by schoolchildren will be sold to a recycling company.
The device will be presented to Petro Tabinsky, a Brody resident, serving in a tank unit in Donbas.
The Brody education authorities will give a set of computers to the school which will collect the largest amount of the scrap paper.
