Ukraine: 800,000 refugees from Crimea and Donbas
There are 800,000 persons who registered as refugees from Crimea and war-torn Donbas areas, Premier Arseny Yatseniuk told journalists Dec. 30.
The government is spending billions of hryvnas in social payments, salaries and pensions for the refugees, he said.
Ukraine economy will drop by 20% due to Russia’s aggression in Donbas and annexation of Crimea, he said.
