Germany has sent 100 trucks with humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, Dozhd reports Oct. 4, citing Der Spiegel.
The project was initiated by Germany’s economic cooperation and development minister, Gerd Muller. The aid is coming from 17 German cities.
“In next mid-week, the convoy will reach the Ukrainian-Polish border. There, the goods will be reloaded onto Ukrainian trucks to be delivered to the 5 zones in Donbas,” the magazine says.
The aid includes construction materials, heaters, blankets and camp beds.
