If terrorists do not lay down arms they will be destroyed, presidential adviser Yury Lutsenko said June 23, describing plan B on resolving a crisis in Donbas, ZN.UA reports.
“I hate to speak about plan B, less so see it being implemented,” he said.
Plan A is a hand outstretched to the separatists. If they don’t take it, they will be destroyed, he said.
Poroshenko orders a ceasefire effective as of Friday, June 20.
Over the last day, the separatists have violated the ceasefire 20 times, he said.
Plan A envisages decentralization of power early local and parliamentary elections in Donbas, giving more power to local administrations, and amnesty.
The separatists, however, disagreed with Poroshenko’s plan. They want recognition of their self-proclaimed republics and withdrawal of Ukraine army from Donbas.
