Rada lawmakers must stop spurning the law and put their income declarations on Rada site, Svitlana Zalishchuk from Tsentr UA NGO said May 30.
She blew the whistle on the head of Rada apparat Valentyn Zajchuk, accusing him of stalling the publication of declarations by Rada.
“Lawmakers threatened Zajchuk he would be dismissed if the declarations are placed on the Rada site, S. Zalishchuk said.
At present, the site shows only 60 declarations of Rada’s 440 lawmakers.
Income declarations of lawmakers are essential for establishing the assets they possess and expose corruption, she explained.
