Apr. 16, as part of the “Buy Ukrainian” campaign, several NGOs brought their appeal to McDonald restaurants central office in Kyiv not to sell Russia-made tea brands Lipton and Greenfield as well as tomato juice in its branches all over Ukraine, UNN reported Apr. 16.
The protesters entered the restaurant with slogans ‘Buying Russia-made tea and juice, you pay for Russian bullets’ and “I do not like goods made in Russia’.
The protesters called on McDonalds’ managers to revise their trade policy and stop buying Russian-made goods.
“Don’t buy Russia” campaign is gathering momentum in Ukraine trade centers in Odesa, Mykolayiv, Kherson, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Poltava and Kyiv.
