The ex-spokesman of Ukraine security service, Stanislav Rechynsky, told Ukrayina moloda Jan. 29 that SBU is gathering compromising materials about middle-rank Maidan activists.
SBU is assisted in this by the prosecution, and criminal cases have been opened against middle-level Maidan activists, he said.
According to him, Ukraine army won’t take part in the dispersal of Maidan as it has large claims to the government regarding salaries which are much lower than what the police get.
The regime will rely on the police and paid goons to further its plans, he said.
He stressed the rising role of the State Security Department, UDO, saying in some issues SBU is subordinated to it.
