Ukraine and Russia foreign ministry officials are in talks over the use of foreign passports for traveling, Russia FM deputy head Grigory Karasin said Oct. 30.
“The issue is sensitive. However, sooner or later, we will have to switch to foreign passports the way it’s happening in the world,” Karasin said.
No visas are expected to be introduced for travelers, he added.
Meanwhile, Putin’s adviser Sergei Glaziev said recently that Ukrainians will have to apply for Russian visas if Kyiv signs the association agreement with the EU, ZN.UA
