Rada’s apparat has appealed to its Committee for the freedom of expression to ban accreditation for Ukrayinska Pravda journalists Serhy Leshchenko and Mustafa Nayem, UP reported Oct. 10.
The appealed is based on a complaint by Rada’s chief of security Ilyin about the accident on Oct. 2 when the journalists put up a poster on the press balcony in protest against the law on libel.
It was not the only accident in Rada’s history. On Apr. 12, three journalists put up a large poster protesting multiple voting by lawmakers using their colleagues’ cards.
