Following his trial, opposition leader Yury Lutsenko is being kept in a prison for ex-police officers, Gazeta.ua writes Sept. 6.
According to the Self-Defense press service chief, Larysa Sargan, Lutsenko does not complain of the conditions in his ward which he shares with four convicts. He has to get up at 6 a.m. and do his bed. He is not allowed to lie on it, although he suffers from constant pain, she said.
Lutsenko does not eat prison food – only those brought to him by his wife or cooked by himself.
There are microwave and gas ovens in the ward, she added.
