Yury Lutsenko: “No one will do our homework for us”

Placing too much hopes on the West’s sanctions against the Ukrainian regime is a sign of weakness on the part of the country’s politicians, the imprisoned ex-Interior Minister Yury Lutsenko told UNIAN Oct. 24.

“No one will do our homework for us,” Lutsenko added.

“However, it does not mean that the teacher won’t check the bag and pockets of the school-yard bully. If stolen money is found in his pockets, the bully will be punished.

Of crucial importance, however, is how soon the schoolchildren will learn to defend themselves,” Yury Lutsenko said.
