Judge Serhy Vovk, who is in charge of the Yury Lutsenko case, was earlier accused by the prosecution of committing crimes, says Hennady Moskal, Yury Lutsenko’s colleague, citing Verkhvna Rada records on organized crime and corruption, Ukrayinska Pravda reported May 31.
Referring to the 2009 crime records, Moskal says Judge Vovk was accused by Kyiv prosecutors of “faking and using the faked court ruling, stealing court case materials and illegally seizing a 70-hectare land site.”
The prosecution made this conclusion after examining the judge’s track record, Moskal says.
In a similar incident, Moskal continues, Judge Vovk passed an illegal ruling allocating land sites to 43 persons on the prestigious French Boulevard in Odesa.
The ruling was later annulled by Kyiv’s Appellate court as unlawful, Moskal says.
Now Verkhovna Rada lawmaker and member of Rada committee on organized crime and corruption Hennady Moskal wants to hear the reaction to these facts of Prosecutor General Pshonka.
