The OSCE monitoring mission in Donbas has evidence of the Russian army presence in Donbas, OSCE mission deputy head Aleksander Hug told journalists in Odesa March 25.
The mission does not make any independent conclusiong, Hug stressed, it has only the smokin gun, Radio Svoboda reports March 26.
“Since our mission started its work we have been reporting about some weapons we saw in the rebel-held territories, notably, the electronic warfare equipment that interferes with our drones.
We also saw some servicemen dressed in the Russian army uniforms.
We interviewed several prisoners who confirmed they belong to the Russian army.
We saw the tracks of weapons that penetrated Ukraine territory from Russia,” A. Hug said.
Despite clear evidence of its presence in Donbas, Russia continues to deny its troops are in Donbas.
