Due to the interference of tycoon Ihor Kolomojsky, Mikheil Saakashvili could not hold the forums of his Movement to Cleanse the Power in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhya.
Premier Yatseniuk and State Fiscal Service head Roman Nasirov are trying to disrupt the project to set up a corruption-free customs house in Odesa, Saakashvili charged, writing in Facebook March 13.
“We had to put off the forums in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhya because Kolomojsky did all he could to disrupt these events. In one case, the earlier leased Menora hall in Dnipropetrovsk canceled the lease, with other halls in the city refusing to let their premises for the movement under pressure from Kolomojsky,” Saakashvili writes.
In Odesa, the opposition to our Open Customs Space project is growing from Premier Yatseniuk and SFS head Nasirov.
They are trying to stop us from setting up such customs that would exclude corruption and make customs clearance an easy and quick procedure,” Saakashvili wrote.
In spite of the massive opposition of corrupt officials and tycoons, the project will be implemented, Saakashvili assured.
