Participants of the nationwide forum of Donbas and 2014 Maidan revolution veterans say they will stay for the night on Maidan, Kyiv’s central square to continue their protest on Sunday, Ukrayinska Pravda reports Feb. 20.
The veterans said at the open-air rally that the authorities did nothing to bring to account those who killed peaceful protesters in February 2014.
They set up fires to warm themselves and install protective fence around their camp.
The activists expect many more to join them on Sunday, as reports of coming protesters indicate.
At present, there are 500-600 activists on Maidan.
