Mykola Tomenko decries corruption in Rada

Speaking to journalists in Rada Feb. 17, Mykola Tomenko, who defected from the Poroshenko-led BPP, accused Arseny Yatseniuk of siding with Ukraine tycoons and influencing the Feb. 16 vote of confidence on his cabinet, 122 Ukraine reported.

Tomenko claimed that Arseny Yatseniuk has ties with Rinat Akhmetov and Ihor Kolomojsky, the country’s major oligarchs who helped him to play the vote.

Experts noticed that some lawmakers from BPP, Radical party and Samopomich broke the party discipline and went against the declarations of their leaders by either  abstaining or voting against the bill proposing to give the cabinet the no-confidence vote.
