Crimean Tatars asked presidents of Turkey, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan to prevent cessation of Crimea, ex-head of Crimean Tatar assembly Mustafa Dzhemilev says.
“Our nation was once evicted by Russia from Crimea [in 1944]. We appeal to our Moslem brothers in Turkey, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan not to leave us in this difficult situation. Russia is preparing again to expel us from Crimea,” he said.
The bulk of Crimea aboriginal population wants to live in Ukraine, he stressed.
Crimean Tatars will never agree to live in Russia, and we will fight for this option with all available means, Mustafa Dzemilev said, Fakty reports March 7.
