New standards of behavior are being shaped by films, with their characters swearing, boozing and taking bribes, says the head of the National commission on public morals Vasyl Kostrytsky, speaking at Telekrytyka Apr. 9.
“On the one hand, we are allegedly fighting corruption. On the other, the characters of some popular detective films are taking bribes, chain-smoke, humiliate women and booze since morning. Let me remind their authors and actors that their children won’t live in an isolated world,” Vasyl Kostytsky said.
