Agreements regulating functioning of BSF in pipeline
Agreements on the functioning of Russia Black Sea Fleet in Crimea have been drawn up, Dzerkalo tyzhnya says Sept. 3, quoting its source.The Russians propose to sign an agreement specifying the use of weapons by BSF servicemen outside their bases.
The Russian proposals also include agreements on regulating movements of the Russian servicemen outside their bases in Crimea, on border crossing procedures for BSF servicemen, on tax breaks during the entry in Ukraine for BSF materials and equipment, on the procedure for replacing BSF weapons.
The Russians are also keen to sign agreements on the BSF infrastructure, on a joint use of lighting houses, on mutual clearance payments since May 28, 2017, as well as on the use of weapons by BSF servicemen outside their bases.
For its part, Ukraine wants to sign an agreement preventing emergency situations in BSF bases, on the actions of both parties in case of emergency situations related to the use of BSF, as well as on legal assistance in criminal cases.
