Rada lawmakers incited inter-ethnic hatred by singing Ivan Franko poem, Regions lawmaker claims

“[Nationalist] Lawmakers sang a song by Ivan Franko titled “It’s not the time, not the time,” with one of the lines reading like “It’s not the time to serve the Moscovites [Russians] or Poles.” This evidently humiliates the citizens of Ukraine of the Polish or Russian origin and discriminates them as to their nationality,” the Regions lawmaker claims.

The lawmaker also lodged a complaint with Rada’s committee on standing procedure.

The opposition has repeatedly accused Kolesnychenko of anti-Ukrainian actions. The lawmaker organized the provocative The Volyn Massacre exhibition.
