President signs bill on local elections into law

This year the elections of village deputies will be held on the first-past-the-pole system.
Deputies of Crimean parliament, oblast, city and city rayons’ will be elected under a mixed (50% majority and 50% proportional representation] system. 

Mayors of villages and cities will be elected under the first-past-the-pole system.
