Ukraine cabinet eager to get IMF credit before New Year
Ukraine expects to receive the first $1.25 bln tranche of the $15 bln IMF credit this year, a source in the cabinet told UNIAN July 15.This is in line with the memorandum on cooperation of Ukraine with the IMF endorsed today, the source indicated.
The IMF board is scheduled to discuss releasing credit to Ukraine on July 28.
In early July, the IMF mission and Ukraine cabinet have finalized a program on cooperation for the next 2.5 years.
On July 3, the IMF announced a decision to release to Ukraine a $14.9 bln credit was reached by experts.
