Cabinet meets another IMF demand to cancel privileges for mining and steel sector

The measure, he said, is due to the cash-strapped budget and difficulties in those sectors of the economy at whose cost the steel/mining sector received its benefits, the official said. 

By canceling benefits for the steel/mining sector the cabinet met one of the IMF demands for releasing a credit to Ukraine. A sector of industry cannot receive benefits at the expense of other sectors, the IMF said.
