Secret police detain ex-deputy head of NaftoHaz Ihor Didenko

A source close to SBU told UNIAN that the ex-deputy head of NaftoHaz was detained allegedly for economic crimes.

To recall, on June 11, SBU director Valery Khoroshkovsky declared that his service opened a criminal probe into inflicting severe financial damage to Ukraine by NH officials. They are accused of assisting ex-Premier TYmoshenko in the  illegal confiscation of RosUkrEnergo-owned natural gas.

SBU press secretary Maryna Ostapenko has officially confirmed Ihor Didenko’s detention.
She did not specify, however, whether Didenko was detained by SBU (3 days of detention maximum) or pursuant to a court decision (as long as a court rules).

    • I still don't understand how there was "damage to Ukraine."
