Moscow wants Ukraine to cut oil transit tariffs

Russia VP Igor Sechin said that if Ukraine reduces the tariffs for pumping oil via Pivdenny, Moscow can raise the amount of its oil export from the present 9 mln tons to 17 mln tons a year.

Earlier, Russia Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko advised Ukraine to make its oil pipelines more attractive by bringing down transit tariffs.
