Zhytomyr oblast council deputies support Stepan Bandera’s and Roman Shukhevych’s decorations
Deputies of the Zhytomyr oblast council refused to support a motion tabled by the Socialists demanding that Pres Yanukovych strip nationalist leaders Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych of their Hero of Ukraine medals. The motion was supported by a third of the deputies force, representing the Communists, Socialists, part of the Lytvyn bloc and Regions.Viktor Tytov, a BYT deputy, called the motion weird.
