Petro Pysarchuk may become new Lviv oblast governor, experts predict

ZIK
Petro Pysarchuk, who headed the Yanukovych campaign staff in the Lviv oblast, is likely to become a new governor. There is no better candidate in Halychyna than Pysarchuk, Roman Zahirny, a member of the Lviv Oblast Association of Banks says.

Zahirny praises Pysarchuk for the way he conducts business. “He is a rare man, and he knows how to manage a business. Unlike many others, he never fails to repay credits. For him it is the matter of honor. He is an exceptionally responsible person,” Zahirny says.
Petro Pysarchuk is a self-made man who, by hard work, succeeded in becoming a rich person.
Zahirny stresses that Pysarchuk’s career is very impressive. He is not only a successful businessman but an able politician. He won his first elected seat in Verkhovna Rada in the first-past-the-pole race, something which shows he has the trust of his voters.
Another Lviv dignitary, general director of the Lviv Arts Gallery Borys Voznytsky also welcomes the likely appointment of Pysarchuk as Lviv Oblast governor.
Pysarchuk has been a major donor over the past several years, supporting various projects to renovate old castles, churches and monuments, Voznytsky argues. “He is a person who deeply loves the culture, and that is why I respect him so much.”
Voznytsky recalls that Pysarchuk was sincere and generous in donating his money. “He didn’t even tell me how much the renovation of the Zolochiv Castle cost him,” he said.
Since 2002, Petro Pysarchuk has been a major donor to renovate the Zolochiv Castle, giving away as much as UAH20
