Student campaign to dismiss education minister kicks off in Lviv March 15

The campaign starts at 10.00, with books on Soviet history and Communist party to be burned outside the FLU. By doing so, students will protest the pro-Soviet interpretation of Ukraine history, something for which Tabachnyk is notorious for. Students will also raise signatures in support of their demand to dismiss Tabachnyk.
Students are supported in the campaign by the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists, Youth Nationalist Congress, Ukrainian People’s Council, Spadshchyna NGO and Borets NGO.
The events in Lviv mark the initial stage of the nation-wide campaign to sack Dmytro Tabachnyk and appoint a Ukrainian patriot to run the ministry, students say.
