Yushchenko-Yanukovych secret pact reaping fruit

That the pact is a reality is proven by the latest attempts by some NUNS lawmakers to strike a deal with the Regions, insisting on nominating Yushchenko or Yatseniuk for premier, Shcherbak goes on. 
The deal, if pulled through, will be a case of cynical trading in moral and political principles, the diplomat says.
 “What a miserable end to a myth about “the nation’s Messiah” and Ukraine’s hopeful [Yushchenko’s description of his mission] who eventually bent over backwards to bring the anti-Ukrainian force to power! What a bitter lesson for Ukraine patriots to learn!” Shcherbak laments.
