Regions to push for cabinet resignation and formation of new coalition next week
According to Oleksandr Lavrynovych (Regions), his party will press ahead with Tymoshenko resignation and formation of a new majority next week, Lavrynovych said Feb. 24, talking to 1+1 Tv channel journalists.He said Regions had not recalled its motion to dismiss Tymoshenko. The motion was only returned to its author for finalizing.
The finalized motion was again submitted to Rada, and now Rada has to address it within 10 days, Lavrynovych explained.
Regions will be also prepared to vote for a no-confidence motion in case it will be submitted by BYT, the vice speaker stressed.
Asked about the line-up of a new majority coalition, Lavrynovych said Regions are in talks with political parties represented in Rada.
