Cooperation of Yushchenko and Yanukovych is open secret
That the lame duck president and Viktor Yanukvych are playing ball is quite apparent. Yushchenko’s team in the Lviv oblast is disseminating leaflets urging Ukrainians to vote against all (something that favors Viktor Yanukovych very much) while the Yanukovych team has paid for their printing, deputy head of the Tymoshenko electoral staff in the Lviv oblast Andry Bolkun told journalists Feb. 5, ZIK reports.Simultaneously, Bolkun dismissed Regions’ Hanna herman declarations that residents of the Lviv oblast are being encouraged by Tymoshenko to come to Kyiv for mass rallies. “This is a lie, a provocation. True, many people will go from Lviv to Kyiv for the inauguration of President Tymoshenko,” the official explained.
