Yushchenko to join presidential race tomorrow
Oct. 27, Pres Yushchenko will submit his documents to the Central Election Commission to register him as candidate for another term in office, Our Ukraine press service report says.Comment by ZIK
Yushchenko has decided to run for president, his chief-of-staff Vira Ulyanchenko told The Kommersant-Ukrayina.She said Yushchenko will be officially supported by Our Ukraine which will join his campaign effort after OU Nov. 8 convention.
“I’m sure he took the decision to run for office again when he became president in 2004. After implementing such significant reforms, any politician will realize that one term is not sufficient to realize his plans. It is not serious to be president for only one term,” she argued.
