Yushchenko to sign decree on reversing Odesa-Brody oil pipeline

The incumbent recalled that a feasibility study report for the Euro-Asian oil transport corridor was approved in late April. Prior to this, Ukraine and Poland concluded an agreement which sets organizational procedures for both countries to implement the project. Now we have to take the next step, Yushchenko added.

He called not to politicize the Odesa-Brody reversal, and to care more about the energy safety of Ukraine.

As stressed by Yushchenko, the implementation of the Euro-Asian oil transport corridor will boost Ukraine’s energy independence. “I am urging the cabinet to meet the commitments undertaken by Ukraine last year and earlier,” the president concluded.
