Judge Zvarych played lead roles in porno films shot in his office, prosecutors say

R. Kuzmin says he was spurred by the escalation of crimes committed by Ukraine’s judiciary. Shielded by their immunity, members of the judiciary commit heavy crimes for which they cannot be held accountable, Kuzmin complains, says the Korrespondent.
Focusing on Zvazych’s colleagues, members of the Lviv Appellate Court, Kuzmin revealed that 11 out of the total of the court’s 14 judges have been allegedly implicated in the corrupt dealings and are under investigation. “We have searched the homes of 9 judges. However, when we finally got Rada consent to arrest Zvarych, he fled the town. It seems likely that we won’t be able to find him any time soon. It’s a shame. Why should judges have the benefit of immunity allowing them to avoid prosecution, Kuzmin stressed.
“I am not going to comment on the moral aspect of Judge Zvarych’s case. Apart from video footage showing bribe-taking and the division of money by judges, we have several porno films shot by investigators in the judge’s office. Is it proper for the Appellate Court judge to engage in sex orgies in his office?” R. Kuzmin said.
Recall that Dec. 18 Verkhovna Rada gave its consent to prosecute and detain the head of the Lviv Apellate Court Ihor Zvarych.
