Chornovil’s widow Atena Pashko to quit Rukh if Tarasiuk dismisses those who oppose closer ties with BYUT
Atena Pashko, the widow of Rukh founder Vyacheslav Chornovil, said Nov. 16 that she will resign from Rukh if its leader B.Tarasiuk expels her husband’s colleagues, Rukh’s Yaroslav Kendzior told ZIK Nov. 17.“Atena Pashko was prepared to take this step. It pains her to see what Borys Tarasiuk is doing with Rukh,” Kendzior added.
He believes B. Tarasiuk will make an effort to expel dissidents from Rukh who oppose his drive towards BYUT.
